Friday Facts
Rapper/producer Dr Dre is not happy that apparently tracks from his long awaited next release, "Detox" have been leaked over the internet. Although no one seems to know when or how the leak occurred, Dre is still pressing forward with work on the disk. Soulja Boy, who made Forbes magazines Cash Kings list, says contrary to what the magazine reported, he made over 7 million dollars the past year. The magazine projected his earnings at about 6 million. At any rate, he says he's blessed and grateful to have made the list. Usher's latest release "Raymond Vs Raymond" makes his fifth consecutive multi-platinum release. He still has several singles heating up the charts. No word on when or if he'll tour in support of the album. With "Recovery" still burning up the charts, rapper Eminem says he's not certain when he will retire. He told Vibe magazine he may still release albums, but has no idea when he will hang up the mike. For those who saw the shocking eviction on last night's "Big Brother 12", be sure to keep tuning in as there are bound to be more surprises in store. Only time will tell who will walk away with the grand prize. There is much speculation that NBC will revive the 1970's cop classic "The Rockford Files" with Josh Holloway as the lead character. Nothing appears to be definite as of yet, talks are still ongoing. In theaters this weekend: "Lottery Ticket", "Nanny McPhee Returns", Piranha 3D" and "The Switch". On the tube: "NFL Football" on Fox, "48 Hours Mystery" on CBS, "Wife Swap" on ABC and "Who Do You Think You Are" on NBC. Make it a weekend!
