Tuesday Tales
Things suddenly turned ugly when rapper T-Pain made his way into Sidney's airport Sunday night. According to Splash News, the rapper's bodyguard exchanged words with one of two photographers on the scene before tackling him to the ground and putting him in a chock hold. Reportedly, the rapper kept walking as the incident unfolded. Pain had flown in from Perth where he had performed at the 2010 Winterbeatz Festival. The singer has not commented on the matter. Rapper/singer/producer Wyclef Jean will reportedly run for president of his homeland Haiti. The singer told CNN that he has filled out the proper documentation alllowing him to run for office. He has been Haiti's most well known figure since hitting with the Fugees in 1996. He has done a lot of charity work with his Yele Haiti Foundation and was one of the first on the ground to assist with relief efforts after the country's devastating earthquake back in January. Rapper Eminem has been nominated for a record eight MTV Video Music Awards, but is not happy. The rapper recently stated that he has two shows on the other side of the country the day after the show. He says he will attend the awards ceremony, but don't expect him to be nice about it. The MTV Video Music Awards will air September 12 at 9 pm. The upcoming nuptials of "Basketball Wife" Gloria and NBA star Matt Barnes have been postponed. No reason has been given for the postponement. The comedy "Lottery Ticket" will hit theaters on August 20 and stars rapper Bow Wow and others. The film appears to be a very funny one that shouldn't be missed. On dvd: "Kick-Ass" and "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". On the tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "Breakthrough With Tony Robbins" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
