Tuesday Tales

Rapper Lil Wayne just can't seem to catch a break. Melissa Philipian, the rapper's former manager, is suing Wayne for fraud and breach of contract. Philipian claims Wayne terminated her back in 2005 after she booked him a hotel room below his standards. She filed suit against Weezy in 2006 claiming that he owed her money for shows she booked before being fired. Though Wayne denied the accusations and said he signed a contract, the case was settled out of court for $375,000. Philipian has now come forward with what she believes is new evidence that Wayne lied under oath during the 2006 court hearings. She has obtained a video in which Wayne refers to her as his manager and credits her good work. She is now suing Wayne for brach of contract, civial conspiracy and tortuous interference. Bryan "Baby" Williams and Ronald "Slim" Williams were also named in the suit. For Nelly fans who've wondered where the rapper has been, wonder no more. The St Louis native is slated to release a work out dvd next month. He also has a album scheduled to be released in November. 112 fans will be happy to know that reportedly the group has reunited and will release an album sometime this year. It will be great to have the group back after a long hiatus. The BET reality series "Trey Songz: My Moment" has been cancelled due to low ratings. In other televison news, the series "Entourge" has been cancelled also. Be sure to catch "Going The Distance" starring Drew Barrymore and Justin Long. The romanic comedy about a long distance relationship appears to be a box office winner. On dvd: "The Last Song", "Cemetery Junction" and "Furry Vengeance". On the tube: "Glee" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "Minute To Win It" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
