Monday Memeo

The Sylvester Stallone film "The Expendables" won the weekend box office battle, earning over 35 million dollars. "Eat, Pray, Love", "The Other Guys", "Inception" and "Scott Pilgrim vs the World" round out the top five films of the week. Shortly after being released from prison rapper DMX was pulled over by police for a traffic violation. After serving a jail sentence and successfully completing rehab, let's hope that the rapper will stay out of trouble in the future. Rapper J. Cole recently stated that it's unlikely he'll release another mixtape before the release of his debut album. Although no release date and title of the umcoming project have been announced, the rapper did confirm that he worked with producers Pharrell, Jim Jonsin, Salaam Remi and Chicago producer No. I.D. The album is slated to be released later this year. Newlyweds Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys are still enjoying their honeymoon. The two recently cruised the Mediterranean with friend Queen Latifah in tow. They surveyed the beaches from offshore, and Ms Keys even hopped on a water scooter and rode the waves in a two piece peach bathing suit. Model/talk show host Tyra Banks has apologized for a promo for the next season of "America's Next Top Model" where it shows a six-foot-two inch model with an extremely small waistline. Banks, who was the victum of body bullying after unflattering pictures of her appeared in several magazines, stated that the promo was misconstrued. On the tube: "House" on Fox, "How I Met Your Mother" on CBS, "Bachelor Pad" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Happy Monday!
