Thursday Dish
Rapper Lil Wayne has responded to the diss from rapper Pit Bull on the track "Harlem Shake". He took to Twitter with a statement saying he thought he and the Miami rapper were cool. It appears that Pitbull took exception to Weezy's inflammatory statements regarding the city. Wayne did call in to a Miami radio station to apologize to fans for some of his remarks, although he's refused to back down regarding statements made about Miami Heat players Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. We'll have to wait and see where things go from here. More rumors regarding singer Chris Brown have surfaced. Mediatake.com is reporting that his ex-girlfriend is now dating rapper Kendrick Lamar, and Lamar and Brown are close friends. Don't know how that will effect the friendship from this point. Sad news out the world of music. Former Temptations member Richard Street was died. He was 70. He checked into St Rose Dominican Hospital after suffering back pain and difficulty breathing. Doctors discovered a blood clot on his lung. He sang on such hits as "Papa Was A Rollin Stone", "Hey Girl", "Heavenly" and "Masterpiece". He proceeds another former Temptations member Damon Harris in death by only days. He is survived by his wife Cindy and children Richard, "Ricky" Jr, Nicole, Brandy and Brandon. Funeral services are scheduled for next week in Cypress California. Condolences to the family of Richard Street. This weekend's episode of "Saturday Night Live" may just get a tad bit funnier. Actor/comedian Kevin Hart will co-host this weeks show and is sure to keep the audience in stitches. "Saturday Night Live" airs Saturday at 11:30. Oprah Winfrey's "Master Class" is set to begin a new season of celebrity interviews. Singer Alicia Keys will be among the guest. She'll discuss her relationship with husband Swizz Beatz and his ex-wife Mashonda. On the tube: "American Idol" on Fox, "The Big Bang Theory" on CBS, "Zero Hour" on ABC and "Community" on NBC. Happy Thursday!
