Tuesday Tales
What do you do after attending the Grammy awards? You party. Chris Brown and Rihanna reportedly spent the rest of Grammy night partying in a club with plenty of smoke surrounding them. Website TMZ reports that the two were spotted living with what appeared to be marijuana coming from the vehicle. If that's true it means trouble for Brown as it violates his probation. Rapper Jay Z has received a tremendous response to his comment regarding singer The Dream choice of head gear during the ceremony. It was one of the most mentioned moments on social networking site Twitter. Rihanna, and other moments were mentioned as well. Beyonce's fans have an interview scheduled to appear on "Oprah's Next Chapter" on Saturday to look forward to. The interview airs the same day as her HBO documentary. Both should be hits with fans. In addition, the pop star will be performing at the BET Experience 2013 along with R Kelly, Miguel, Kendrick Lamar and others in June. In July, she'll join Jill Scott, Maxwell and Brandy at the Essence Music Festival. She also discussed her new album during an interview with BET.com. She described the new album as a mixture of her previous albums "4" and I am Sasha Fierce", but much more sensual and empowering. She added that the album was recorded in the Hamptons, New York, only a few months after daughter Blue Ivey was born. Collaborators, including Justin Timberlake and Timbaland lived and eat with the singer and husband Jay Z like a family, she said. 2013 is turning out to be the year of Beyonce indeed. Actor/comedian Katt Williams isn't in jail for once. He made a overdue tax payment to the IRS and all is well. Rapper Drake settled a lawsuit with the woman who claims she sang on a track the rapper recorded but was never properly credited or compensated. In more Drake news, the rapper recently discussed his upcoming album during an interview with E Entertainment's Ryan Seacrest. Fresh off his Grammy win for Best Rap Album, which beat out discs by Nas, Rick Ross and 2 Chainz, the MC revealed that the title of his next album will be "Nothing Was The Same". The announcement, in addition to the leak of the single "Started From The Bottom", has his fans excited, and who can blame them?. Drake's last album, "Take Care" sold over a million copies in the US thanks to such hits as "Marvin's Room" and "The Motto". Drake told Seacrest that the album was fueled by self-discovery. He added that he's excited about life in general. On DVD: "Skyfall", "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower", "Robot & Frank", "The Sessions" and "Bully". On the tube: "Raising Hope" on Fox, "NCIS: Los Angeles" on CBS, "The Taste" on ABC and "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
