Tuesday Tales

"Shrek Forever After" was the box office champ again, taking in over 43 million dollars over the holiday weekend. "Sex and the City 2", "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time", "Iron Man 2" and "Robin Hood" round out the top five films of the week. Singer Beyonce is being sued by a Hollywood Hills resident for traspassing during a video shoot. Philip Markowitz, who filed the suit, claims Beyonce and her film crew invaded his privacy and provoked unecessary noise and crowds. He is seeking 25,000 in damages. The singer has not responded to the suit. Be sure to catch the top ten "American Idol" finalist when they hit the concert trail this summer. The tour starts in July and will end in September. Sad news out of Hollywood. Actor/director Dennis Hopper died after a battle with prostate cancer. He was 74. He appeared in over 100 films during his career, but is best remembered for his role in the film "Easy Rider". He also went on to direct the films "Speed" and "Day Of The Dead". He will be missed. His contributions to American film will live on. May he rest in peace. On dvd: "Dear John" and "The Road".  On the tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Wipeout" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC.
