Tuesday Tales
Matthew Knowles, manager and father of singer Beyonce Knowles, has squashed the recent rumors of a Destiny's Child reunion by saying there will be no reunion. Singer Chris Brown's United Kingdom tour has been postponed. The singer was scheduled to perform in London, Manchester, Birmingham and the Scottish city of Glasgow, but the British government's Home Office stated he had been refused a visa due to his past criminal record. Fans will recall the singer was sentenced to five years probation and six months community service for beating his ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. The Home Office stated Brown applied for his visa last week and should have been notified of it's refusal on Monday. Concert promoter, SJM stated that Brown's tour had been postponed "due to unforeseen circumstances". Former Kiss lead guitarist Ace Frehley will release a memoir detailing his time in the legendary heavy metal band. Gallery Books, a imprint of Simon & Schuster, announced that Frehley is working on "No Regrets" and plans to release the book in the summer of 2011. Be sure to pick up the latest issue of the Source magazine, featuring Rick Ross on one cover and Ludacris on the second cover. Both MC's discuss their careers and what's next for them both. On dvd: "Shutter Island" and "Not the Messiah: (He's a Very Naughty Boy)". On the tube: "Hell's Kitchen" on Fox, "NCIS" on CBS, "Jimmy Kimmel: Game Night" on ABC and "America's Got Talent" on NBC. Happy Tuesday!
